Golf Murcia
Golf, Murcia Province has rather a large amount going for it. It is here that you will you find some of the most famous of all the golf course to be found in Europe. In fact, this region of Spain prides it self on offering superb courses at prices that are not overly expensive.
One of the top courses to be found in Murcia is La Manga that lies between the towns of Murcia and Alicante. Here you will find three of the most magnificent golf courses in all of Europe and which are available to play on all year round.
The first course to be built is the South Course, which was originally designed by Robert Putman. Then in 1992, Arnold Palmer a legend of the golfing world modified the course further. It is this course, which has been used as the venue for many of the top professional golf tournaments that take place in Spain throughout the year.
The next course is the North one and in recent years has under gone some refurbishment in order to enhance this one even further. All the greens on this course have been rebuilt to meet the standards of the USGA and so enables it to compete with some of the world's finest golf courses.
However if you just want a quick round of golf whilst visiting this part of Spain then why not consider taking a trip to the course at Altorreal. This is only a short drive away from Murcia and is a very neat nine hole course with beautiful scenery for you to view as you play.
