Golf Costa Blanca
There are numerous different courses available where Golf, Costa Blanca area of Spain can be played. All of which are in fact only a two hour drive from Benidorm which is at the heart of this part of Spain.
As you will soon discover there are courses of varying shapes and sizes and some of which have been designed by the likes of professional golfers such as Severiano Ballesteros. However, you need to be aware that because of the quality of these courses you may find days where you are unable to play a round of golf as a Spanish National Golf Championship is taking place on them.
It is important to also note that during the high season (summer time) the cost of green fees go up considerably compared to what you are charged in the winter. Some courses during the winter months will charge around 45 Euros for a round of golf, whilst in the summer you could expect to pay anything upwards of 80 Euros for a round.
In addition, if you are looking to play a round with friends during the summer it is best to book your tee off time for as early as possible in the morning. Unfortunately, some courses in order to protect the greens will close them during the day when it gets too hot. However, if you do find a course that is opening throughout the day, hire one of the golf buggies to get you round. Moreover, it is important that you take plenty of fluids with you as you play around.
